My garden last year was very much an experiment (a tasty one, I might add), and I’m glad for the lessons it taught me. This year’s garden is already underway, and along with the veggies, my interest in backyard gardening or backyard farming is also growing. Not only is growing your own food, however much you can, good for you, it also ties into health and environmental topics.

I’ll be blogging about these topics more in the future, not just about my growing garden, but about eating real food over processed food, supporting local and organic farmers, and eating more of a plant-based diet.
